Welcome to Rosendal and Kvinnherad our favourite place on the west coast of Norway.

Destinasjon Rosendal was established in 2022 by Tracy Kheder and Jarle Samuelsen, after moving from the Bergen area after some very hectic years in hospitality and event organising. Rosendal and its warm and friendly local population and wonderful natural beauty inspired us to establish our company on the harbour close to Gurine and the Folgefonnsenteret. We combine our previous experience in guiding, sea safety, logistics and hospitality.

Our wish is that your stay in Rosendal will be a memory that you treasure for ever.

We have put together a selection of excursions to that can be adapted to suit the participants, your safe enjoyment of the wonderful landscape of Rosendal & Kvinnherad is our main goal.

We can provide excursions for all types of travellers, from small private groups, fixed excursions you can book directly online on our website, or for the Cruise ship traveller with groups of up to 150. All our guests will receive the same care and attention.

Our guides are residents of Rosendal & Kvinnherad, from various backgrounds: a farmer, an ocean scientist , teachers, a North Sea diver, marine safety specialist, shipbuilders and historians, and of course the Norwegian Trekking Association, they all have a unique insight into the history, culture and the nature of our rather special area of the west coast under the Folgefonna glacier.

All of our guides speak english, and we have german guides too.
We always carry first aid kits, drinking water, hiking poles and energi bars.
We will plan all of our tours based on the days weather conditions, to ensure that our guests have a safe and fun experience.
Life jackets must be worn on all boating trips.
We carry safety communication equipment.
