Starting from the Fonna Glacier Centre, this hike offers participants a unique opportunity to explore the stunning glacial landscape and fjord vistas.
Along the trail, enjoy stunning panoramic views of the North Sea, the Rosendal Alps, and the Folgefonna National Park. During the hike, a knowledgeable glacier guide will share insights about the region’s cultural history, physical geography, and climate. A lunch break will be taken in the midst of this magnificent scenery.

Participants should bring personal warm, wind- and waterproof clothing, gloves, mountain boots (if available), food, and drinks. Sunglasses, sun lotion, and a backpack with extra space for glacier equipment are also recommended. The tour provider offers rental of wind and waterproof clothing and sale of gloves, sunglasses, sun lotion, maps, snacks, and lunch food.
